The Panama canal is the busiest harbor in the world and not for the light hearted, not a great place not to have an engine. Fortunately, Indy was moving with the gib alone at 6kts. WE anchored near Shelter Bay, I served dinner and we all just rehashed the evenings experience. I then called our agent to find out what was in the diesel we knew at that point it had to be the fuel. I could hear him talking to the guy that gave it to us and he came back and said, "Lady, that was not diesel it was gasoline!!!!". I then thought I was going to throw up. My reaction was pretty colorful and he hung up on me...ugh!!!

Never a dull moment
Reading about the experiences of others is very relaxing, but I can surely imagine the stress aboard Indy when they tried to transit the Panama canal.
